Top of First Page Google Organic Search Result for Perth IT Company

AOG Design were approached by Premium IT to redesign their website. Premium IT are a Perth based IT company helping support small to medium sized businesses with IT solutions at an affordable price.

The Brief

Premium IT wanted to refresh their website to portray themselves as a modern progressive company within the technology industry.

They suggested a one page scrolling website for its ease of navigation, although was open to suggestions.

Premium IT also mentioned that they would like to improve their ranking on google.

The Strategy

As the website was built on an older Content Management System, we approached this project as a newly built website.

Part of website redesign process was to implement a website audit and complete a keyword research to reveal what keyword opportunities exist for for improved ranking.

The Solution

Past projects have revealed having that one page scrolling one page site rarely rank well, as multi page content rich websites have a greater influence on google rankings.

Separating services the company provided into separate pages increased the content and page numbers.

We also suggested regular blogging articles to help signal google as the website as an authority within its industry.

The Result

Before launch the website was not getting any traffic. After analysing search results after a few weeks, it was tracking well in search results for the highly competitive keywords. The keyword reached top of page 1 within 60 days after launch, and reaching over 180 users within the first month and multiple leads.

This was without any Pay-Per-Click advertising or ongoing SEO program.
